Rotor TCS Base [UPGRADED] - User Manual

What's in the Box:

  • 1 x VPC Rotor TCS Base


  • 4 x Cable Clips

  • 4 x Bolt ISO 8677 М5х16 A2

  • 4 x Washer DIN 934 М5х16 A2 

  • 4 x Nut DIN 9021 5,3 A2

  • 1 x VPC DUAL USB - XS9 Cable (4,5m) 


Setting the Travel Range

Tools required:

  • H3 Hex Key (NOT INCLUDED)
  • H5 Hex Key (NOT INCLUDED)

1. Unscrew the highlighted screws and remove the cover of the base.


ATTENTION! Before removing the limiter, tighten the clutch!


2. Unscrew the two marked screws to remove the installed cam plate and replace with the desired one.


Force Adjustment


Tools required:

  • H5 Hex Key (NOT INCLUDED) 

1. Remove the rubber access port covers from the top of the base.


2. Adjust the resistance with the highlighted screws using the hex wrench and reinsert the plugs in place.

IMPORTANT!  For the correct operation of the mechanism; when adjusting damper the screws must be adjusted equally.

 


Installing the Bracket


Tools required:

  • Phillips Screwdriver (NOT INCLUDED) 
  • H5 Hex Key (NOT INCLUDED)

1. Remove the highlighted screws.

2. Remove the 4 highlighted screws under the washer and detach the bracket from the base. 

3. Connect the bracket to the base according to one of the options below:

4. Remove the highlighted screws and remove the front cover of the base.


5. Remove the two marked screws to remove the limiter.

6. Rotate the base until the end of the spring matches the hole in the bracket according to your installation option.

7. Secure the spring with a clamp using a bolt.

8. Return the base to its initial position, tighten the clutch, and install the limiter.


9. Adjust the load of the compensator using the screw (clockwise – decrease in effort; counterclockwise – increase in effort).

Adjustment of the counter balance must be carried out together with the clutch! 


After using the device, leave the lever in the upper position (this will prevent the spring from shrinking and increase the life of the device)!



Connecting the VPC Rotor TCS Base


  

 Insert the clips until they click intoplace on the bracket and route the cable through them. 


IMPORTANT! Use VPC Software to configurate the device
